Kari took a picture of flamingos at the Honolulu Zoo for me because they remind me of her. Way back in the 80's she brought me a ceramic flamingo with a thermometer on it which she got while visiting her Grandma Lee in Florida. I kept it, of course. Here it is, just a special reminder of her travels as a kid. Thank You, Kari!

wow, I vaguely remember that. How cute. So long ago. I'm very anxious to come out this summer ! I have soemone working on the flights for me :)
